Is Nangibotide safe?

One infusion course studied only

In ASTONISH, adverse events were similar with nangibotide and placebo. This matters because septic shock patients are already very sick, and extra harm would have been easy to miss. Death was not the main outcome. The trial was not powered to detect a difference in deaths. No one has studied safety beyond a single infusion course, or in people who are not in septic shock. ¹
